In his role as the Senior Manager of Engineering Design Technology at Motiva Enterprises, Adam Williams brings over fifteen years of experience in managing and administering Engineering Design Systems within the EPC and OGC Owner/Operator sectors. With a strong educational foundation, holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University, and certifications in SmartPlant P&ID, SPEL, and S3D from Hexagon, his expertise extends across various project environments, including Refining, Chemicals, offshore drilling, petrochemical plants, and LNG facilities.

Adam’s work is defined by an in-depth understanding of project support management, focusing on automation and the integration of the SmartPlant Tools Suite. He has led initiatives such as PoC for developing a robust digital twin for manufacturing using AI and ML technologies, optimizing both operational efficiency and predictive maintenance. Additionally, he excels in execution planning, software management, and developing new software proof of concept roadmaps, making him a key player in advancing digital engineering technologies. This combination of leadership and technical expertise positions him as a specialist in engineering design and innovation, with a focus on Digital Twin, GenAI-driven solutions and SmartPlant tool mastery.
